Elephants are known to be very friendly with humans, and a viral video shared on social media shows a funny fight between a baby elephant and its caretaker. The video, shared by the Twitter account of Dr Samrat Gowda, an Indian forest officer, has now been viewed over 150,000 times. Dr. Gowda, who shares a lot of animal videos on his Twitter account, shared the clip with the caption, “Hey this is my bed..wake up..”

The clip begins with a baby elephant trying to cross the fence. Due to their large size, they are unable to jump due to which the child has to struggle to get out of the enclosure. Once it crosses it, it appears that the elephant goes straight to the mattress the zoo keeper is lying on.

The elephant immediately tries to wake the “sleeping” person, while the keeper jokingly tries to share the mattress with the animal before being forced to wake up. However, the caretaker does not give up and once again sends the elephant to the corner with a pile of leaves and lies down on the mattress.

In the end, the man decides to share the mattress with the elephant and lies down holding her by one side and hugging her. Many Internet users were delighted with the display of human-animal friendship, with one user commenting, “This is the cutest thing ever”. Another user made fun of the incident and addressed the zoo’s caretaker saying, “lucky he didn’t sit on it”.
