Air pollution in Delhi closes hundred of school,renews alarm

Air Pollution worsens: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday conceded that air pollution is a North India problem, holding Punjab government responsible for stubble burning. Primary schools in Delhi would be closed from tomorrow amid worsening air quality, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Friday during the briefing. For Class 5 onwards, outdoor activities would be restricted.

The Aam Aadmi Party  government is also contemplating odd-even traffic rationing measure for vehicles in national capital, he added. “We’re taking all steps to control the pollution situation. Meanwile, we’re shutting down all primary schools in Delhi from tomorrow… Also, outdoor activities for all classes above Class 5 would be barred,” the Delhi Chief Minister said.
