ਅੱਜ ਭਾਖੜਾ ਡੈਮ ਦੇ ਗੇਟ 8 ਫੁੱਟ ਤੱਕ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਧਰ, ਪੌਂਗ ਡੈਮ ਤੋਂ ਛੱਡੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਿਆਸ ਦਰਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਨੌਸ਼ਿਹਰਾ ਪੱਤਣ, ਮਹਿਤਾਬਪੁਰ, ਮੋਤਲਾ, ਹਲੇੜ ਜਨਾਰਦਨ, ਚੱਕ ਭਾਈਆਂ, ਬੇਲਾ ਸਟਿਆਣਾ, ਧਨੋਆ, ਚੱਕਵਾਲ ਸਮੇਤ ਦਰਜਨਾਂ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਮਹਿਤਾਬਪੁਰ, ਹਲੇੜ ਜਨਾਰਦਨ, ਬੇਲਾ ਸਰਿਆਣਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਕੁਝ ਪਿੰਡ ਖਾਲੀ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

ਨੌਸ਼ਹਿਰਾ ਪੱਤਣ ਕੋਲ ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਆਸ ਦਰਿਆ ਦਾ ਧੁੱਸੀ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਪਏ ਪਾੜ ਕਾਰਨ ਜਗਤਪੁਰ, ਟਾਂਡਾ, ਦਾਦੂਵਾਲ, ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਦਰਜਨ ਭਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਮਾਰ ਹੇਠ ਆ ਗਏ ਹਨ। NDRF ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਟਰੈਕਟਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਣ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
