In the first match of India vs Australia World Cup, with the help of half centuries from Virat Kohli and Kyle Rahul, India defeated Australia by 6 wickets in 52 balls.
ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ :- ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬੱਲੇੇਬਾਜੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ 49.3 ਓਵਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 10 ਵਿਕੇਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਾਲ 199 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਓਪਨਰ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਡੇਵਿਡ ਵਾਰਨਰ ਨੇ 52 ਗੇਂਦਾ ਵਿੱਚ 41 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਟੀਵ ਸਮਿੱਥ 71 ਗੇਂਦਾ ਵਿੱਚ 46 ਦੋੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆ। ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਿਆ, ਇੱਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੇ ਬੱਲਬਾਜ ਅਰਧ ਸੈਂਕੜਾਂ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਸਮੱਰਥ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਕੁੱਝ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਜਾਡੇਜਾ ਨੇ 3 ਵਿਕੇਟਾਂ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀਆ, ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਬੁਮਰਾਹ ’ਤੇ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ 2-2 ਵਿਕੇਟਾਂ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਆਰ ਅਸ਼ਵਿਨ, ਹਾਰਦਿਕ ਪਾਂਡਿਯਾ ’ਤੇ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਸ਼ਿਰਾਜ ਨੇ 1-1 ਵਿਕੇਟ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
Australia :- The Australian players scored 199 runs with the loss of 10 wickets in 49.3 overs while batting first. In which opener David Warner scored 41 runs in 52 balls and Steve Smith scored 46 runs in 71 balls. No other player could do much, even the Australian bowlers were unable to score half-centuries. The Indian bowlers did not allow the Australian players to do much. In which Ravindra Jadeja took 3 wickets, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav took 2-2 wickets, besides R Ashwin, Hardik Pandya and Mohammad Shiraj took 1-1 wickets.
